Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ἐν ψαλμοῖς ᾠδὴ τᾠ Δαυίδ.

O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
Ἐν τῷ ἐπικαλεῖσθαί με, εἰσήκουσέ μου ὁ Θεὸς τῆς δικαιοσύνης μου· ἐν θλίψει ἐπλάτυνάς μοι· οἰκτείρησόν με, καὶ εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου.

But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
Υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων, ἕως πότε βαρυκάρδιοι; ἱνατί ἀγαπᾶτε ματαιότητα, καὶ ζητεῖτε ψεῦδος; διάψαλμα.

Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Καὶ γνῶτε ὅτι ἐθαυμάστωσε Κύριος τὸν ὅσιον αὐτοῦ, Κύριος εἰσακούσεταί μου ἐν τῷ κεκραγέναι με πρὸς αὐτόν.

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
Ὀργίζεσθε καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε· ἃ λέγετε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν, ἐπὶ ταῖς κοίταις ὑμῶν κατανύγητε· διάψαλμα.

There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
Θύσατε θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης, καὶ ἐλπίσατε ἐπὶ Κύριον.
7
Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
Πολλοὶ λέγουσι, τίς δείξει ἡμῖν τὰ ἀγαθά; ἐσημειώθη ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς τὸ φῶς τοῦ προσώπου σου, Κύριε.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Ἔδωκας εὐφροσύνην εἰς τὴν καρδίαν μου· ἀπὸ καρποῦ σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου αὐτῶν ἐπληθύνθησαν.

Ἐν εἰρήνῃ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κοιμηθήσομαι, καὶ ὑπνώσω· ὅτι σὺ Κύριε κατὰ μόνας ἐπʼ ἐλπίδι κατῴκισάς με.
