Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
Εἰς τὸ τέλος, μὴ διαφθείρῃς, τῷ Δαυὶδ εἰς στηλογραφίαν, ὁπότε ἀπέστειλε Σαοὺλ, καὶ ἐφύλαξε τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ τοῦ θανατῶσαι αὐτόν.

Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
Ἐξελοῦ με ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου ὁ Θεὸς, καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἐπανισταμένων ἐπʼ ἐμὲ λύτρωσαί με.

The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
Ῥῦσαί με ἐκ τῶν ἐργαζομένων τὴν ἀνομίαν, καὶ ἐξ ἀνδρῶν αἱμάτων σῶσόν με.
4
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
Ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἐθήρευσαν τὴν ψυχήν μου, ἐπέθεντο ἐπʼ ἐμὲ κραταιοί· οὔτε ἡ ἀνομία μου, οὔτε ἡ ἁμαρτία μου Κύριε·

Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
Ανευ ἀνομίας ἔδραμον καὶ κατεύθυνα· ἐξεγέρθητι εἰς συνάντησίν μου, καὶ ἴδε.
6
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
Καὶ σὺ Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων ὁ Θεὸς τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ, πρόσχες τοῦ ἐπισκέψασθαι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, μὴ οἰκτειρήσῃς πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν· διάψαλμα.

Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
Ἐπιστρέψουσιν εἰς ἑσπέραν, καὶ λιμώξουσιν ὡς κύων, καὶ κυκλώσουσιν πόλιν.
8
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
Ἰδοὺ ἀποφθέγξονται ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν, καὶ ῥομφαία ἐν τοῖς χείλεσιν αὐτῶν, ὅτι τίς ἤκουσε;

Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
Καὶ δὺ Κύριε ἐκγελάσῃ αὐτοὺς, ἐξουδενώσεις τάντα τὰ ἔθνη.
10
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Τὸ κράτος μου πρὸς σὲ φυλάξω, ὅτι σὺ ὁ Θεὸς ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ.
11
So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Ὁ Θεός μου, τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ προφθάσει με, ὁ Θεός μου δείξει μοι ἐν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου.

Μὴ ἀποκτείνῃς αὐτοὺς, μήποτε ἐπιλάθωνται τοῦ νόμου σου· διασκόρπισον αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου, καὶ κατάγαγε αὐτοὺς ὁ ὑπερασπιστής μου Κύριε.

Ἁμαρτίαν στόματος αὐτῶν, λόγον χειλέων αὐτῶν, καὶ συλληφθήτωσαν ἐν τῇ ὑπερηφανίᾳ αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐξ ἀρᾶς καὶ ψεύδους διαγγελήσονται

συντέλειαι, ἐν ὀργῇ συντελείας, καὶ οὐ μὴ ὑπάρξουσι· καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ὁ Θεὸς τοῦ Ἰακὼβ δεσπόζει τῶν περάτων τῆς γῆς· διάψαλμα.

Ἐπιστρέψουσιν εἰς ἑσπέραν, καὶ λιμώξουσιν ὡς κύων, καὶ κυκλώσουσι πόλιν·
16
—
Αὐτοὶ διασκορπισθήσονται τοῦ φαγεῖν, ἐὰν δὲ μὴ χορτασθῶσι, καὶ γογγύσουσιν.
17
—
Ἐγὼ δὲ ᾄσομαι τῇ δυνάμει σου, καὶ ἀγαλλιάσομαι τοπρωῒ τὸ ἔλεός σου, ὅτι ἐγενήθης ἀντιλήπτωρ μου καὶ καταφυγή μου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ θλίψεώς μου.

Βοηθός μου, σοὶ ψαλῶ ὁ Θεός μου, ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ ὁ Θεός μου, τὸ ἔλεός μου.
