Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
Ψαλμὸς τῷ Ἀσάφ. Ὡς ἀγαθὸς ὁ Θεὸς τῷ Ἰσραὴλ, τοῖς εὐθέσι καρδίᾳ.
2
He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
Ἐμοῦ δὲ παρὰ μικρὸν ἐσαλεύθησαν οἱ πόδες, παρʼ ὀλίγον ἐξεχύθη τὰ διαβήματά μου.
3
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
Ὅτι ἐζήλωσα ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀνόμοις, εἰρήνην ἁμαρτωλῶν θεωρῶν.
4
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀνάνευσις ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ αὐτῶν, καὶ στερέωμα ἐν τῇ μάστιγι αὐτῶν.

They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
Ἐν κόποις ἀνθρώπων οὐκ εἰσὶ, καὶ μετὰ ἀνθρώπων οὐ μαστιγωθήσονται.
6
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
Διὰ τοῦτο ἐκράτησεν αὐτοὺς ἡ ὑπερηφανία, περιεβάλοντο ἀδικίαν καὶ ἀσέβειαν αὐτῶν.
7
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
Ἐξελεύσεται ὡς ἐκ στέατος ἡ ἀδικία αὐτῶν· διῆλθον εἰς διάθεσιν καρδίας.
8
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
Διενοήθησαν, καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἐν πονηρίᾳ, ἀδικίαν εἰς τὸ ὕψος ἐλάλησαν.
9
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Ἔθεντο εἰς οὐρανὸν τὸ στόμα αὐτῶν, καὶ ἡ γλῶσσα αὐτῶν διῆλθεν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
10
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Διὰ τοῦτο ἐπιστρέψει ὁ λαός μου ἐνταῦθα, καὶ ἡμέραι πλήρεις εὑρεθήσονται ἐν αὐτοῖς.

Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
Καὶ εἶπαν, πῶς ἔγνω ὁ Θεὸς, καὶ εἰ ἔστι γνῶσις ἐν τῷ ὑψίστῳ;
12
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
Ἰδοὺ οὗτοι οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ καὶ εὐθηνοῦντες εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, κατέσχον πλούτου.
13
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
Καὶ εἶπα, ἄρα ματαίως ἐδικαίωσα τὴν καρδίαν μου, καὶ ἐνιψάμην ἐν ἀθώοις τὰς χεῖράς μου·
14
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
Καὶ ἐγενόμην μεμαστιγωμένος ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν, καὶ ὁ ἔλεγχός μου εἰς τὰς πρωΐας.
15
And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
Εἰ ἔλεγον, διηγήσομαι οὕτως, ἰδοὺ τῇ γενεᾷ τῶν υἱῶν σου ἠσυνθέτηκα.
16
There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
Καὶ ὑπέλαβον τοῦ γνῶναι, τοῦτο κόπος ἐστὶν ἐναντίον μου,
17
His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
ἕως εἰσέλθω εἰς τὸ ἁγιαστήριον τοῦ Θεοῦ, συνῶ εἰς τὰ ἔσχατα.
18
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
Πλὴν διὰ τὰς δολιότητας ἔθου αὐτοῖς, κατέβαλες αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ ἐπαρθῆναι.
19
And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
Πῶς ἐγένοντο εἰς ἐρήμωσιν; ἐξάπινα ἐξέλιπον, ἀπώλοντο διὰ τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν.

The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
Ὡσεὶ ἐνύπνιον ἐξεγειρομένου, Κύριε ἐν τῇ πόλει σου τὴν εἰκόνα αὐτῶν ἐξουδενώσεις.

Ὅτι ηὐφράνθη ἡ καρδία μου, καὶ οἱ νεφροί μου ἠλλοιώθησαν.
22
—
Κᾀγὼ ἐξουδενωμένος, καὶ οὐκ ἔγνων, κτηνώδης ἐγενόμην παρὰ σοὶ,
23
—
κᾀγὼ διαπαντὸς μετὰ σου· ἐκράτησας τῆς χειρὸς τῆς δεξιᾶς μου,
24
—
ἐν τῇ βουλῇ σου ὡδήγησάς με, καὶ μετὰ δόξης προσελάβου με.
25
—
Τί γάρ μοι ὑπάρχει ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ παρὰ σοῦ τί ἠθέλησα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς;
26
—
Ἐξέλιπεν ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου, ὁ Θεὸς τῆς καρδίας μου, καὶ ἡ μερίς μου ὁ Θεὸς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
27
—
Ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ μακρύνοντες ἑαυτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ, ἀπολοῦνται· ἐξωλόθρευσας πάντα τὸν πορνεύοντα ἀπὸ σοῦ.
28
—
Ἐμοὶ δὲ τὸ προσκολλᾶσθαι τῷ Θεῷ ἀγαθόν ἐστι, τίθεσθαι ἐν τῷ Κυρίῳ τὴν ἐλπίδα μου· τοῦ ἐξαγγεῖλαι πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις σου ἐν ταῖς πύλαις τῆς θυγατρὸς Σιών.
