Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ὑπὲρ τῶν ληνῶν τοῖς υἱοῖς Κορὲ ψαλμός.
2
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Ὡς ἀγαπητὰ τὰ σκηνώματά σου Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων.
3
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
Ἐπιποθεῖ καὶ ἐκλείπει ἡ ψυχή μου εἰς τὰς αὐλὰς τοῦ Κυρίου· ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου ἠγαλλιάσαντο ἐπὶ Θεὸν ζῶντα·

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Καὶ γὰρ στρουθίον εὗρεν ἑαυτῷ οἰκίαν, καὶ τρυγὼν νοσσιὰν ἑαυτῇ, οὗ θήσει τὰ νοσσία ἑαυτῆς· τὰ θυσιαστήριά σου Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων, ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ Θεός μου.

For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
Μακάριοι οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου, εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων αἰνέσουσί σε· διάψαλμα.

The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Μακάριος ἀνὴρ οὗ ἐστιν ἡ ἀντίληψις αὐτοῦ παρὰ σοῦ, Κύριε· ἀναβάσεις ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ διέθετο,

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα τοῦ κλαυθμῶνος, εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἔθετο· καὶ γὰρ εὐλογίας δώσει ὁ νομοθετῶν,

Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
πορεύσονται ἐκ δυνάμεως εἰς δύναμιν, ὀφθήσεται ὁ Θεὸς τῶν θεῶν ἐν Σιών.

Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων, εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου, ἐνώτισαι ὁ Θεὸς Ἰακώβ· διάψαλμα.

Which perished at En–dor: they became as dung for the earth.
Ὑπερασπιστὰ ἡμῶν ἴδε ὁ Θεὸς, καὶ ἐπίβλεψον ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ χριστοῦ σοῦ.

Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
Ὅτι κρείσσων ἡμέρα μία ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς σου, ὑπὲρ χιλιάδας· ἐξελεξάμην παραῤῥιπτεῖσθαι ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ Θεοῦ μᾶλλον ἢ οἰκεῖν με ἐπὶ σκηνώμασιν ἁμαρτωλῶν.

Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
Ὅτι ἔλεον καὶ ἀλήθειαν ἀγαπᾷ Κύριος, ὁ Θεὸς χάριν καὶ δόξαν δώσει· Κύριος οὐχ ὑστερήσει τὰ ἀγαθὰ τοῖς πορευομένοις ἐν ἀκακίᾳ.

O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
Κύριε τῶν δυνάμεων, μακάριος ἄνθρωπος ὁ ἐλπίζων ἐπὶ σέ.
14
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
—
15
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
—
16
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
—
17
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
—
18
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.
